Recently while trying to do transaction branch manager is informing her account has been blocked as per SEBI directive, he is not showing any proof for the same. Now my mother does not even have a DEMAT account, nor does she have any dealings with stock market. Any suggestions on what to do regarding this? I did breastfeeding and baby care. I didn’t want to know anything about child birth...just when to get to the hospital.
The only class I took that I would say was 100% necessary was CPR/choking. We had a choking incident when baby was about 11 months old and it was sooo scary but it was really helpful to have been prepared. We did back blows and it came right out. Choking is actually not that uncommon in babies/toddlers because they’re idiots and can’t eat well (I read somewhere that it could be as high as 30% but that seems high based on anecdotal experience- but have had at least two other friends had to do back blows!).
The other stuff might be nice to have, but you’ll figure it out if you don’t take it. Breastfeeding class was a bit of an eye opener, but again, not necessary.
No class will prepare you. Just enjoy it!
So true. We read 10 books and took 2 classes before and 1 after...the list of "no one told me this" was still SO LONG!!
See if the hospital you are giving birth has 2 day session, it’ll cover everything and tour of the unit/hospital. Sign up early classes will get filled up and tell them when you’re due Incase they try to group people closer to due date. For us both of us are going, the two day session, and I’m going to breast feeding by my self
I didn’t take any classes with my first. I did reading online about what to expect etc. however I would recommend first aid (cpr etc) and breastfeeding or utilizing a lactation consultant at the hospital.
Birthing, breastfeeding, and CPR. Skip the basics class (how to change a diaper etc) you’ll figure it out!
You have plenty of time! My insurance covers up to $100 or $200 (I forgot) so I took 3 classes to max that out - the birthing class is a must, and the breastfeeding was really helpful, and general baby care one was nothing revolutionary by the time I took it because I’d been studying up otherwise. I had no experience with kids otherwise so the classes (husband in attendance with me) was a good way to ensure we hit some key topics and discuss as a couple.
Thank you! I didn’t even think about insurance covering classes - I will look into that!
