Anyone recently received a tax manager offer from EY ? I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

MBB bonuses will likely smoke FAANG (can really only speak for google). A lot of the high comp at the upper levels comes in the form of RSUs. TC will likely get close if you’re L6/L7 but MBB will almost always have a higher base. At least from what I’ve seen.

Yep. I’ll get about a million in RSUs over the next five years because if this. It’s amazing

No signing bonus from MBB? 180k base seems kinda low for SM going to FAANG. The offers are very similar. MBB edges faang from a monetary perspective but if you map it out based on hrs worked, faang will probably have a higher return

The base in tech is lower than consulting because of the upsides that stock brings. Most people's total comp is about 50% equity....and that amount seems to go uo a lot every year.
Also....the total pay looks lower because we are hiring more non technical people. So you are hearing more about their salaries than our ultra high tech salaries.
180 base plus 40 in equity each year is a very underwhelming offer for a current Senior Manager who just got an offer from MbB at the equivalent level. Try negotiating with Faang?
What level Op? Also which city?
