Bain interview tomorrow, any last minute tips?
She watched him put his bag in first delta comfort row (her row), then proceed down the aircraft several rows. She says “umm excuse me, are you in this row?” (As she points to the first row of Delta Comfort)? He says “uhh no” then proceeds to “well, I am, and I need this spot for my bag!” He walks back to the front, grabs his back, and takes it with him to the back of the aircraft! 👏🏽🙌🏽 props to her! She’s probably late 50’s, he was mid 30’s!
She is my sprint animal. Can she do that for those boarding in the wrong group too?
I had a Flight Attendant who stood at the start of delta comfort and did this a few weeks back. One family put three bags in comfort and the FA made them all do the walk of shame to come remove them and bring them to the back of the plane. Best flight ever.
Love it
A2. I do not think it is rude. Sounds like she called him out nicely for his rude behavior. When people put their bags in early rows, the people who sit in those rows then have to go further back to find overhead space and try to "swim upstream" back to their seat. And then there is a bottleneck getting off the plane. This can happen anyway but it is exacerbated when people stow their bags near the front of the plane regardless of where they sit.
I’m still recovering from finding out that it’s roll aboard and not roller board.
Hell yeahhhh
Wow we need more of her
Love it! Especially if she was at the bulkhead seat!
@ACN1 - it depends on the aircraft, this specific flight was a B717-200 with a 2-3 economy seat configuration, and a 2-2 first class seat configuration. She was in the first row of economy, but there was no bulkhead between first and economy, so she had shared space in front of her for her smaller items (3 seats sharing the space of 2 first class seats), but she was talking about space for her roll aboard.
A2, it’s more than likely the seasoned flyer who stowed his bags up front did so for his convenience regardless of others inconvenience. This is a tactic that should only be used when a flight is not full and ppl are spreading out. Should not be used when that bin space is someone else’s.
Don’t fly Delta, what is the ‘comfort row’? Is it first one w no seats in front to place bags under?
@M2 - yup
Delta has 3 owned, and 88 leased
Good!
A Boeing 717?
I hate bin space in general when flying C+ on a mad dog (or derivative).
Lol I do it all the time.. you not sitting here
Why are you all okay with this? That was incredibly rude to that guy and I bet it delayed departure significantly.
Wow there are still way too many 717/MD-88/MD-90's in the fleet, I thought they were phasing them out
