1st year analyst, 1.5 years of prior work experience. Worth trying to switch to MBB in the next year or two and probably start over as 1st year again or go through MBA route? (Cont'd)

Why not try both, double your chances for free? The odds aren't exactly in your favor at the moment with BCG struggling and McK and Bain doing fine but not spectacular

like

Significantly deeper bench than the others. The why is another question. Perhaps too aggressive hiring, maybe the market place doesn't value their services the way they price them, or perhaps the functionalities they're traditionally strong at have slowed down more than the Bain and McK strongholds. Who knows, all sorts of possibilities

Same here.. I'm actually thinking about applying for big 4 consultant level

(Assume will have relevant/interesting projects under my belt and good reviews) Got into consulting a tad late(age-wise) and want to avoid wasting anymore time but hesitant about the MBA costs?

MBA route. You'll probably want to do an MBA later anyway.

Let's compare when you have an offer or an admit.

A1 why is BCG not doing well compared to the other 2?

Need some honest advice. So I’ve been at the firm for a little 7 months this is my first job after college and I absolutely hate it. I have two degrees in tech and business. Currently I am doing auditing and it’s just not for me. Am I crazy for quitting current role and looking another job? Or do I stick out a couple months for 1 year mark then leave ?

Any particular segment of sales good for ex-finance? Currently 3 years in at fortune 100 bank on business development side (on commercial loan originations team but no commission/targets at the associate level, basically do credit analysis and build pitch books for the producers) This role has been great as I have gotten both analytical experience and tasted sales experience (I say taste bc I’m not the producer) but would potentially like to transition to a sales role that is less analytical

I’m a designer in the planning/landscape architecture dept. of a CE firm. Extremely frustrated that after 4+ years and multiple asks, I’m not getting the in-field construction experience I’ve asked for. I know that my designs could be better if I could see how things are actually built but I get slapped in the face with “I need you in the office designing/drafting” or “there’s no budget to have you go out” and then sends an intern to inspect instead. I’m 5 yrs out of college. Any advice?

What would it look like (from a TC + long term career standpoint) to switch over to MBB for a year or two then go back to FAANG?

I think I’ll be a Senior CW soon, but it feels like most folks my age (30) have been in that role for a bit or already past it. Since I can’t turn back time, any tips for catching up?

Do you give them just to the kids or to anyone who's dressed up, including the accompanying adult?
Why is distributing candy so stressful 🥲

Hi folks, I recently applied for a new role in EMEA for a Specialist Solutions Architect. Got through n received an offer letter. But seems like the base is a bit lower than what i saw online in a couple of places (not sure of years of experience there though). Is it worth it to bring it up and ask the HM to raise an exception? How much time will this take? Is it a risk? Already the entire process has dragged on cause of delays on recruitment's part etc. Any advice or insight would be helpful!

Nasdaq and Stocks want to make a double-top here. At the moment, hard to be short with this momentum. But, a break of the extension will mean a nice retrace and a move back to our lows of the year.
