1st year business law (solicitor) wanting to transition to comm lit. Tips?

INSURANCE HEADHUNTER/RECRUITER RECOMMENDATIONS: I currently work for small MGA in the southeast that has E&S P&C binding authority markets. I have 7 years experience in insurance industry. 4 of those years as MGA marketing rep personal & commercial lines and past 3 years at current MGA restructuring, managing, & growing commercial lines book but do not have UW experience. Hey everyone. I found out we are expecting our first child and I’m really nervous. I got into consulting one year ago and I’m up for promotion this year. With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date. I’ve worked really hard and I’m worried our wonderful news will throw chances with this :(- also if I don’t get promoted pretty sure it’s up or out. Any advice?

I currently have a Master of Arts in Public Administration and am trying to break out of the realm of government and law enforcement.. that being said, I have been pondering the idea of getting certified in Environmental Social Governance (ESG) and sustainable business. Would this be worth the investment or should I leave that to people with a heavy finance background? Just want to be more marketable since my main background is in law enforcement data analysis.

How do you move up the chain as a CRA? From 75% traveling to 100% remote role or maybe 20% travel. Any suggestion on remote roles in clinical research where CRA experience is appreciated?

I’m so burnt out from law that I’m starting to think I need to do something else. I can’t keep handling the constant stress from having to do my attorney’s job for them since they’re too scatterbrained to handle most of it themself.

Any advice on transitioning from a PR agency to in-house more community-based roles? I have held roles at small-mid sized tech/health tech agencies for most of my career (5 years) and am having a hard time breaking into in-house positions.

If we are in the red zone and failed both the sme interviews is what it meant performance exit or we will still be considered for an FTE? I have heard that people with both the sme failures are still pulled in the projects and are full time! Should we be in a hope or look out for other jobs?

Being virtual I'm finding I'm forgetting/ missing more meetings which is entirely unacceptable but at the same point I don't know why it's happening.

I had a problem concentrating on one task, reading for more than 5 mins, and just staying on track overall with work. I was okay in college, but I did poorly in law school bc of the my inability to focus and I started to feel that way since becoming licensed. I took a vyvanse yesterday and my productivity increased ten fold. I’ve always wanted to avoid medication and did so, but I feel like I need to look into getting prescribed. Has anyone had similar experience? I know, big topic w/ lawyers.
