Very nice of you! Soups/stews are always good because they can freeze them easily if they need to. As for sides, maybe a loaf of nice bread, cut up fruit, a little dessert? I would stick to things that reheat easily too. Salad would be good but give the dressing separately. Also drop off in containers you don’t mind not getting back. They’re probably tired/overwhelmed and won’t be in the head space to get you your Tupperware!

Do you know if they are strict kosher? If yes and you are not, don’t make anything homemade, they can’t eat it and will feel terrible. If you are kosher as well then I think pasta and meat sauce is a great idea!

We loved casserole dishes that we could just cut a slice from for meals & freezing / rebaking was a breeze!

My little step sister is 9 and is very clearly and openly the less favored child between her and her brother. I feel terrible for the environment she has to grow up in. Is there anything else I can do to ensure she has the financial freedom she needs to get out of her situation as soon as she hits 18?

What do you think of the baby girl name Araminta Denise? My middle name, my mothers middle name, and mother in laws middle name is Denise, so thats not negotiable I want to honor my dads mother & maternal great grandmother who were both named Minnie but want a fuller name in case she grows out of the nickname. I thought she can be called Araminta professionally, but the family will always call her Minnie. Araminta was also Harriet Tubman’s given name Thoughts? Suggestions for other Minnies?

Anyone have good recommendations for workout programs for pregnant mamas? I know there’s a ton of prenatal yoga programs (including on peloton), but curious if anyone has come across a program/app for women to do weight lifting, light cardio etc... similar to non-pregnant programs. Of course I guess you could use the non-pregnant ones too (assuming it’s ok with the dr) 🙃 feels like there’s a market for this...

Hi friends! I would like to adopt an adult dog & am thinking through post covid world that requires being at work 9-10 hrs day. Live in an apt & am currently single so it will just be me providing care. Have priced out doggie day care & it’s beyond my budget. How long is “too long” for a dog to not have access to the bathroom? Thanks for sharing your your thoughts.

I’m trapped. My husband is a gaslighter. He pushes me to the point of no return. It exacerbates my depression and anxiety and I get so worked up that I can’t function. I can’t leave because we have a baby and I know he would take him from me and win. I have no one out here and I’m alone. I just have to put up with it. There are good times. But it’s hard to keep living like this.

6 weeks pregnant over here and struggling a little bc with the nausea I'm experiencing healthy food sounds gross. It feels like a hangover where all I want is bread and carbs. Moms of toddlers in mid west/northeast and not in daycare due to covid - how are you keeping your kid happy/engaged? I feel my 20 MO is stressed out as he hasn’t seen many people in the last few months. Since we are at home we either do chores with him or play with blocks etc. he is now interested in anything other than cleaning the house and due to extreme weather we could just do small walks in the neighborhood. Any other ideas? He is bored and looks zoned out. And no screen time.
