If you use your personal phone as a work phone, yes, the firm pays for it. Or you have the option of having a separate work phone

Hello Everyone,

I am looking to switch to a Job role after working 2.5+ years on my own Pack-Tech Startup and another 1.5 years with few other startups.
I am BTech IT passout of 2016, and have great experience in Client and Stakeholder management, Programming basics, Business Acumen and operations. I am very much friendly with computer and softwares.

Looking to hear from anyone who is hiring.

Thanks in advance.

Hey guys… I’m a case worker in child safety and I’m someone who loves being outdoors/dies at a desk all day. I’m hoping to organise that at least once a week I can go to a cafe and catch up on all my case notes that need to go into the system.
So far the only reason I’ve been told no is that “if you do then everyone will want to and then no one will be in the office” … how can I convince them that I work better out of the office and get this freedom & mental break for myself?

I recently presented to some potential new hires on a video call. DURING the call, one of the potential hires sent me a DM on LinkedIn saying "Hey ;) Maybe we can collaborate" What the hell do I do? It feels so unprofessional. This guy has already been offered a job, we were just trying to convince them to accept. But I am uncomfortable.

Anyone here who knows or went through the Veterans CDP, when did you receive your official start date in writing or get contacted by HR? I got a verbal starting date from my recruiter, but it's not on my contract so I'm wondering if this could get pushed back. Not something I'd like to have when planning to relocate across the country.

Thanks in advance!

Hi tax 🐠,

I have a question for those who prep individual tax returns. My parents claim my grandfather as a dependent on their tax return and due to their low income, receive PTC for the premiums they pay on his insurance (not eligible for medicare). However, would it be advantageous to have him file for his own tax return (he stays with my parents and doesn't have his own proof of residency via bills). If so, can he get PTC if his income is 0?
