Hate conference calls that drag on for hours.

What are you binge watching this weekend?

My suitcase finally died today after 5 years on the road (RIP). What are people’s opinions of soft suitcases vs hard? I’ve always liked the soft, assuming they stretch to fit what I need. Thoughts??

Why do random people (aka juniors from your old alma mater trying to get a foot in the industry) feel it's ok to connect with you on LinkedIn when you have no clue who or what they are?

I don’t plan on sticking with consulting (ie. not going for partner track), would it be more financially rewarding to work in tech as a swe or corporate strat at a F500? Don’t really have high ambitions to grind my way to the top of the ladder. Willing to work hard throughout my 20s but want to settle down by mid 30s

I have gained some weight during the past months. On a one-on-one with a partner, I got a “friendly advice” to get back in shape since looks matters to clients.

FTI 🐠— recruiter reached out after sending application to speak over the phone. Any tips as to what to expect? TIA

DINK: Need some honest feedback and advice on where we go from here. $245k base HHI in Tier 2 city. 45K left in student loans down from (160k). 35K emergency fund. 105K networth excluding vehicles and no equity (renters) in our late 20s. We are currently contributing 8% into 401ks for company matches and maxing out HSAs. For those who have grown their wealth substantially, what steps would you take to reach a million-dollar net worth in the next seven years?

I feel like I have career indecision. I go down one train for a little while before thinking another train might make more sense. And they’re not logical leaps, either. One day I’m staying in consulting, another I want to do a startup, another I want to get into tech, another I want to get into finance. I’m not really sure what my root motivation is and I think that’s the cause of all of this. Has anybody had this kind of experience and gotten out with a clear direction?

I have the case of the Mondays on a Wednesday 😭

How do you feel about people who don’t print format an excel report?!?!

Any KPMG Digital lighthouse fishies know if there’s enough work in the pipeline to be hiring?? From: an anxious fish waiting on an offer

Which would you take after 5 YOE? Associate at McKinsey for $185k Manager at PwC for $170k Manager at capital one for $140k

To all you fathers, secret fathers out there Happy Father’s Day. What is on your wish list? I am thinking of this complete my work at home ensemble.

Anyone want to share a ride from park city (Sundance) to SLC airport at 1pm today?
