20 lakhs ctc is good compensation for 8 years experienced female candidate in tcs? Current ctc is 16.5 in cognizant. Yes I know it's not even a 30% hike but I heared tcs have some limit and they won't pay more than their budget level. Initially they said they can offer 23 ctc and 1 lakh joining bonus. Then it was rejected from corporate. I want work life balance in top priority. Is it good to join tcs or should I look for counter offer??

I currently work as a civil engineer/project manager for a county government. I recently applied to a private consulting firm and they are now working on an offer package to send over.

While I'd like to jump to the private side for several reasons (higher salary my #1), with the current macro economic uncertainties, I have some concern making the switch from a (generally) stable government job to a less stable (?) private company. I’ve been the Marketing Coordinator at a small real estate private equity firm since I graduated (Marketing BBA) from college in May 2021. The firm is small & heavily relies on me, yet I feel overwhelmed & undervalued. Not only am I delegated to my marketing tasks, but non-marketing related projects & tasks. I initially started at 45k, so I’ve had raises & a few bonuses within a short time. Am I selfish? or am I worth more?

Hello! I'm wondering if you all could give input on my salary. I'm a civil engineer in Chicago with 1.5 yr experience making $66,150. Bonuses are about $2k a year (not guaranteed).

The only reason I'm asking is because Glassdoor says the average starting salary is $77k and with my experience I should be making $85k. I'm not sure how accurate these numbers are though. Any input appreciated!

Hi guys, this is spoiling my brain since yesterday. I recently switched with 20lpa which includes PF and gratuity. My friend who is in accenture has 17.6 lpa with PF as 1800 and no gratuity included. In April salary he got inhand as 1.13 and I got 1.19 and PF was 7.5k. Both of has same IT deducted as 28k. Now I'm worried when there is gap in our package how come we got similar salary and same IT.
