I think you’ll be shocked to find many men still haven’t and will never realize and accept this in any meaningful way. Also, if we shun men for not being “woke” early enough we won’t get anywhere.
At least he knows now. I would treat that as an opportunity to educate him.

But how would he know? A big part of the problem is precisely that women are consistently punished for speaking up. Unless you are a member of a dedicated support group / community, you don’t hear those stories. Especially if you are a 20 something white male. I’d ask him: “Now that you know, what are you doing about it?”
Yes take this as an opportunity to educate him!
One day he will manage women, and he ll have more empathy and be a better boss for them thanks to you.
