For those who work in the cleared space, have any of you been able to return on-site for work and what has the experience been like? Is it rotations for parts of your teams to come in during the week? Any other ways you're keeping billable if not on-site?
I joined KPMG a while ago from federal consulting. Federal consulting had super good work life balance but I’ve been working at KPMG strategy for a while now. The hours are wild, my managers expect perfection, and I feel like it’s all meaningless. Does anyone else feel like this, how have you dealt with it, and is it like this once you go into industry?

Debating a new job and was told I could expect RSUs ranging from $40-60K on an annual basis. When I asked for this to be written in the offer letter, I was told that because it is a “discretionary grant that is not contractual” it would not be in there. I was also told that my role qualifies for these grants by my new potential boss. Is this normal/standard?

I think bcg would probably count as an outlier here though
Outside NYC - @3 yrs exp you would be close to a 1st yr sr. Con, maybe around 80 to 85k
Standard for Capgemini especially if you are in a lower col city like Atlanta. If you are a top performer, then you could be getting more. Senior consultant raise is between 6-12% depending if you are promoted at midyear or end of year.
OP - which practice makes a difference. Also 3-5 is normal in band
Analytics/FSI. Entry-level is 75k. Assume 10% per year for good performance. 90k at first promotion in 2-3 years.
Relatively cheap city (not NYC etc)
I’m 3 years out and pay has risen from 75k starting to 147k :/
Thanks. I think around the 3 yr mark id be SC so that works out okay
In the consulting group
Now I see how we lose to you on price
D2 - what group are you in / what would you see as standard at the 2-3 mark?
Does D do big annual raises but then no significant promo bump? At 10% per year you'd already be in 90s anyway. I think I'll get the first promotion before the 3 yr mark so doesn't sound too far off
