Dear 🐠 I need some advice: Should I leave my BizOps role at tech to join S& at a post MBA level role? For context I have done some non-strategy consulting work before (bug4). Kind of tired of my current role and looking for maybe a change of function. Have a couple of other offers all tech/startup bizops type roles. Pay ranges vary but nothing much different from the S& offer. I’m getting mixed vibes from S& (ok brand vs culture) and not sure if tech to S& is the right move. ~ 5yoe Strategy&
Are Glassdoor reviews getting manipulated? There has been a drastic increase in good reviews for some organisations in last 1 year. It's very hard to believe that their work culture improved so fast. What should be the best way to review an organisation before joining? Deloitte Nagarro FIS Global Tata Consultancy

Hi all! I’m a MIS senior expecting to graduate in May. A recruiter from Capital Group reached out to me for a CAMPUS: Solutions Engineer role. I’m set for a first round digital interview tomorrow and I’m really nervous about it. I could potentially graduate right into a full time position if I make it thru the whole process.
Any info, advice, and tips would be greatly appreciated!!

Most people who move to NYC only stay for 2-5 years. I've been here 2 years now and I'm looking to move somewhere else. Don't get me wrong, NYC is a lot of fun. There's always something to do, but you can find 90% of the same shit in other major cities and won't spend half of your salary on rent. Also the dating scene here is nuts, and not in a good way
Work culture is awful in NYC, yes. Especially if you work on FS clients
As a girl you'll end up with endless dating options in SF. Ratio is in favor
I just moved to NYC this year and want to get out so bad 😩 what was I thinking
One thing to consider is where do you want to build friendships and stay long-term?

NYC! More fun than SF and more diversity, culture. Yes the guy ratio is better in SF but as they say "the odds are good but the goods are odd"
D2 seen new hires transfer to both, nothing is that hard if you use your network
Chicago is a good "light NYC" if you can survive the winter every year.
I second @BCG1 Chicago is definitely the way to go.
SF!!!! But I'm biased as I live here :) Lived in NYC for a bit and hated it. Don't know if I'll ever leave the Bay Area!
Move to Denver!
Is the work culture in NYC really as bad as they say it is?
I live in NYC and am little bit of a workaholic. I like it here coz there's so much to do. But if you are worried about an intense work environment, don't move here. You'll hate it.
Move to Santa Monica. SF is overrated
NYC for when you're younger! I love it here but will probably end up in SF around 30
Both offices are extremely hard to transfer to, if you want to stay at Deloitte
I know someone who moved from NY to Chicago and now wants to move back.
