I was an AE for two years, took a promotion at another agency for SAE for only 8 months and am now being recruited for AS at 80k. When you say your salary jumped __x, how is that exactly calculated?

Mine was $16k (minimum wage before joining corporate) > $40k (contractor total before getting laid off) > $150k (current FT)?

Is that a 260% jump or 2.6x from $16k to $40k?
And a 375% jump or 3.75x from $40k to $150k?

Or do I calculate it by hourly rate?

I’m starting to think regardless where you go (agency side) the work will be there along with the politics and bs. Should we always base our next move with compensation as number 1 deciding factor?
