You will need to move them into like accounts. So the Roth 401k should rollover to a Roth IRA, at a place like Fidelity or Vanguard. If you have employer contributions in a pre-tax 401k or other pre-tax account, you can roll that over to a traditional IRA, or into your new employer’s 401k. I would ask the administrator for the pension plan what kind of account it is in now to see if it’s eligible for a rollover of any kind or if you have to take a dispensation now. I imagine a dispensation now would create a taxable event, so keep that in mind.
Following , similar situation. My understanding is you’ll pay tax if you move it to Roth.
Roth 401k>roth ira is not taxed. I'd suggest you do this, you have more options that way. If it was traditional 401k you should roll into your new jobs plan
