Just did mine in NY, $9000 1800 sq ft roof

Wow my parents was 20k for 3k sq for 10 years ago.

Edit: I’m getting old. I guess this was 20 years ago now.

$9k is insanely low
I’d figure like $10 per ft here in CA…
Maybe aim for $7 in TX? Dunno.

Guessing, based on what I think I remember my neighbor in austin saying… 15k+++

I did about 1100 sqft of roof for 7.8k back in 2019 - colorado

I have around the same size and the previous owner replaced the roof 6 months before I bought the house with a metal roof. It was around $20-25k from what I was told. This was about 4.5 years ago.

Hi there. I have been a reg nurse in a practice setting for over a decade. Just wanting to get an idea of what other practice nurses are on as a pay rate if possible as a comparison to hospital nurses as I'm keen on a shift into hospitals. I started off on 22, moved to 24 then 28. Moved jobs in order to get a pay rise and recognition and accepted and stayed on 32 for 4 years as they made excuses as to a pay rise. In my current job I'm on 46. I do feel it's too much but I'm not complaining!

My former apartment landlord elected to paint the main stairwell a dark blue a week before our move and fix all scratches in the drywall from multiple years of moves (7 tenant building, 5 story walk up)

They deducted a crazy amount of security deposit for alleged scratches to wall / paint chips

Any chance that is objectionable? I doubt they knocked prior tenants for scratches to dry wall when the walls were white

I trust my mom and I do want to support her but is this a good idea?

For any of you real estate investors, what tools or sources did you learn from when getting started. Can’t find a mentor currently so want to find some highly recommended books or videos. If focused on the tri-state area (NY, NJ, Long Island mainly) that would be even better. My hope is to buy and rent out a apartment while also owning a house and house hacking that by renting part of it out. Trying to understand all the steps, traps, and how to find if it’s a good investment.
