Moved to Salt Lake from SF two months ago to open new office. Haven’t looked back once. Salt lake is incredible

Do you know what the SLC territory’s market numbers are compared to KC? Unlikely, but it could be underdeveloped and have more opportunity than you think. Either way, based on how you described the 2, I would choose SLC. You aren’t married to the company, and SLC has the geography, people, and real estate that you want. SLC has a lot of economic opportunity… you can always gain experience and find something better there & then also be around the people and places you love.

You got it. Life’s short. Enjoy SLC, OP. Congrats on the growth.

My opinion, as an AE in his 40's... Stay were you ate for a year and take the internal love to the desired location. You benefit by knowing the company products and services better and get the overall location you wanted. Additionally, your company will likely subsidize your relocation. Should be an overall better option from a career and financial perspective.

Pick the city first, most people stay with one employer 4-6 years. Relo bonuses aren't what they used to be.

Prioritize your happiness, you won't regret it. Jobs and money are everywhere.

I interviewed for a position remotely 3 weeks ago with the 3 partners of an agency at the same time, and it went well. The CFO then took 30 minutes after the initial hour to talk more and she asked that I reach out to her for more questions as well as to let her know when I have relocated as I told them that I am about to move. After 3 weeks, I sent a follow-up note to the HR contact and no response all last week. Shall I try contacting the CFO directly since she did ask that I do? Thoughts?
