Deloitte is hiring: Requirements 1) A bachelor’s degree 2) CPA certification 3) 3-7 years of experience in Accounting, Audit, and Tax Note: These roles are 100% remote. Post COVID, travel will vary. Please, send me a private message. I will need your resume to forward to the Senior Manager.
Have an old credit card (Capital One) that had a $2 balance that I wasn’t aware of and was past due for 2 months. My credit score took a hit of 80 points and when I called, the agent could only take off one late payment off my record. Any advice on what to do to get my credit score back?
As consultants, when you travel to cities that you’ve been to, or even new cities, what do you typically use find good restaurants or places to go? (Google, Yelp, friends, etc.)
Recommendations for travel pillow?
Thinking of maximizing travel points/benefits from my credit cards. What is the best card(s) to use? NA based mostly traveling using Marriott properties and AA/United flights. Solving for most redeemable points for travel (hotel and flights), ok paying annual fees.
Best chic travel duffel? Am flying to Australia with my babes and don’t want to bring a hard case to make sure we can fit all of the kiddos stuff in the cars there!
Lost sense of maximizing points/mileage value for int’l flights. Why is Detla redeeming so much more for some routes than Chase UR and even other partner airlines? E.g. non-stop economy btw Detroit-Seoul // Delta redeeming 160k on its own route while Chase UR 123k & Korean Air 80k for same route (code share)... I get it all depends on timing but still weird directly using Delta Skymiles on its own Delta route is more expensive than going through other methods....
Tired of AA bullshit... Best steps to take to maximize the chances of upgrades with Delta? 1st step will be a status match (Plat Pro with AA). Any and all useful advice will be greatly appreciated. 👍
Unpopular opinion (perhaps): Jetblue has a better product offering than mainstream carriers, especially United.
Please give some tips to write powerful impact statements. This is my first year in Deloitte USI. What all points to include? What should I not include?
Any 🐠 still up at Westin Jersey City?
Best hotels in Florence, Italy? Not using points, so hoping for under $200/night. Female traveling alone.
Y'all... my student was attempting to do his work with this ✏️ he didn't want to get points off for being unprepared. Bless my babies 🤭🥰 I love them so much!
Hi guys, anyone who was interviewed for a position of senior or lead data scientist at S&P global?? Can you share your experience please?
EY fish- would anyone happen to know the salary band within the data and analytics practice (specific to financial services) for someone coming from industry with 8 yoe (5 years in consulting)
Do Apple and Netflix hire for completely remote positions (tech roles in analytics) in the US. I'm on the east coast and don't wanna move.
What's the difference between expectations / responsibilities / benefits / perks between a Strat Director and a VP?
Serious question: I’ve worked in MBB, Big 4 and tier 2, and the number one reason I’ve heard for younger (less than 5 YoE) talent leaving is that they are “not doing strategy work.” It’s also the top request from younger staffers to do on every engagement team I’ve led. The question: Are there any consulting firms really letting new talent do this? Or is this the top delusion of new MBAs entering the consulting world?
How do you get out of a marriage where i can't afford to live on own with my salary, has kids, no family living nearby, and who's husband is an alcoholic. No physical abuse but plenty of mental abuse.
Any junior associates that can recommend a recruiter that got them a fat signing bonus? I’m a 2020 corporate associate at a V10 and don’t see myself staying in Big Law for very long. I want to look at options for taking advantage of the signing bonuses (to help pay down loans) before exiting. (Also would be curious to hear anecdotal data on signing bonuses for 2020 corporate associates.) Thanks!
Debating if I should take up a Mck lateral EM offer vs a Director level IC role in F500 in an industry I was before getting my MBA? TC is similar between the two offer, but trying to see what are other factors I should use to evaluate the two offers? For context, I am a manager at B4 and targeting SM promotion by 2022-2023 - so not taking any offers is also a viable option.
Hi I am a digital marketer with a MBA in Marketing Management and 4 years of experience in Social, SEO and Growth Marketing. I am looking for an opportunity at any of the FAANG companies or any Service based Tech companies in US. Thanks In advance
Anybody have a world of Hyatt CC referral I can use? Not sure the referral actually matters but if it helps someone out, happy to go that route instead of directly applying. Thanks!
Hi Strategy 🐟! Does rejecting an MBB offer hurt chances of future employment? I have 3YOE and working as a Software Engineer. Decided to pick a tech company over McKinsey but my future plan is to do MBA after 2 years with 5 YOE and then join MBB.
Anyone know if and what the signing bonus for experienced hires without an mba at the associate level at Kearney is?
Just asking for informational purposes. What kind of work Data Engineers do in firms like MBB, Big banks, or Big4? What knowledge areas are tested during interviews?
What is the longest you would drive in one day (I be using rest breaks, gas, food)? Drove over 9 hours to SC for vacation once and am thinking of doing it again to save some money on a rental, airfare, etc. Or am I am being a cheapskate?
Just giving a bit of Gyan to fellow fishers Please please do not ever use CTC comparison between current and next company. If you get an offer, do an in hand calculation. Some companies add Retirals like Employer PF, Gratuity along with Insurance, furniture allowance as part of your CTC. Others don't. Sone also have higher variable package. So when you do a CTC delta you may get a 20% hike but when you discount the above things you will fall short and may end up making less. So choose wisely.
What would you do if you were me? Late 30s. Burned out. 1.4M invested in index funds (75% in in post tax accounts). 4k/month fixed housing expense. Untilites/insurance/subscriptions at 1k/month. After that it's food, clothing, and one-off expenses. Dual income family of 4. Monthly burn rate gets up to 9k when we're not paying attention so I'm not traditional FIRE yet. Coasting options? Sabbatical? A few more years in the salt mines? Rental properties or other time suck investments?
Refer me to a Faang product manager role and win a NFT of my dog. Limited units. Dont let this opportunity pass.
