Hi Fishes, What is the default hike percentage in EY GDS and how much is promotion hike and yearly bonus? Do they give mid hike seperately as well?
Hello. I am currently renting a house in this wealthy Boston suburb with my wife and 3 young kids. I just got a new job and can now work remotely anywhere in the US. Since we want to buy our 1st house, I am looking for advice on black mid-class neighborhood with good public schools to raise my kids. Any advice is welcomed 🙏🏽
Every employees at TD just got a 3% off cycle raise to combat inflation. Comes into effect July 1st. Have other companies done similar? Obviously doesn't fully offset inflation but I'm glad to see the bank addressing the issue. I worry public officials (teachers, nurses etc.) Won't be so lucky
Anyone know what is the eligibility for promotion in Harman and when that gets reflected? I have 9+ years of exp expecting designation change by this year. I completed 2.5yrs in Harman

My agency has a long meeting discuss promotions. This is the 2nd time I’ve been part of it, and last time no one said “no.” There’s an account VP up for promotion who is smart, kind and organized but lacks leadership. This would be her 2nd promo in 2 years. Would I sound like (and be) a dick for saying anything? Obv her boss thinks she’s ready.

I'm in a pickle about my salary- I had 1.5 years experience before starting my current role 2.5 years ago. The company had no marketing before me & I built everything from the ground up. My responsibilities have grown tremendously, including sales enablement, Rev Ops, customer success, product development & more. I had a conversation last August about my salary & was promised a raise & promotion, but it hasn't happened. Sales hasn't closed the revenue we need, but I've also never had a raise.
Currently a 1.5 year tenure Consultant in Deloitte GPS RFA. Just received an offer from Guidehouse for $82K, a $16K salary boost from what I make currently. I am not up for a promotion to SC at this point. I've also heard Deloitte benefits are better, but would anyone have opinions on whether I should take the job?
Any tips for asking for a mid year riase when a raise was already given in December/January? (7% for hitting above quota numbers) I started to realize the new external hires on my team make 10-15k higher than me for the same role. I am a top 3 performer but promotions and raises are usally only given based on hitting a certain number and at the EOY and often times that number is very hard to hit given the out of my control situations like acquisitions.
Raise your hand if the past two years really hit you like a ton of bricks! I'm trying to find new and inventive ways to offer my services, and I was thinking about getting into life coaching as well. Has anyone done this?
Hi all, can you please share best practice for managing your relationship with your line manager at a PR agency? I would like to be inline for promotion in the next 6-9months How would you run your catch ups and how do you make sure they advocate for you?
Can you negotiate higher pay (either at a new job or for a raise) based on your academic pedigree? If so, how can you do this without sounding elitist? Meaning, if an employer possibly picked you as an Ivy League/Top 20 Public flagship university degree holder, how do you acknowledge this in salary negotiations? Especially asking because these people often have more loans compared to someone with an online degree for example.
What was the percentage of the most recent COLA increase given by your employer? I'm looking for standard or budgeted amounts rather than your personal increase due to promotion or request. Thanks!
Would it be in bad taste if I were to bring up my teammate’s salary when trying to negotiate a salary raise? He has a similar title as me, but my manager doesn’t know his salary. Would it be a bad move if I told him that I want the same pay as my teammate?
Hi all, I got an offer of ~19.5LPA fixed for a B7 role. YOE ~5. What would be the average hike and bonus payout at NatWest? How long would I've to wait for B7.2 and B8 promotion?
How do you ask for a raise when you are making far under market value and a big contributor at your agency?
I won a game of Catan with a group of nephews and nieces, and one of them called me, and I quote, "a ho-ass". Should I escalate to my partner, or should I call HR? Interraction was not documented and relationship with them is critical, unfortunately.

Anyone here actually subscribe to the Windows Insiders Edition thing? I tried it for a bit, and it boggles my mind that native CUDA and some nice UI experiments can possibly be worth your system occasionally deciding it's gonna take 20 minutes to boot and remain only half functional because of a bad push
I have 5years of experience and I've started my journey at Capgemini on Feb 2019 with expected salary of 6.5LPA, but got 4.2LPA only. Have seen comp for NACR (restructuring) listed at around 150-200 for analysts, 200-275 for associates, and one mention of senior associates at 375k. Supposedly NACR gets crushed in terms of hours. But i've also read that targets are around 2000 hours per year? Something doesn't add up.....e.g. Associate $550/hr * 25% cap rate * 2000 billable hrs = $275k.......but 2000 hours is slightly over 40 hours a week (including 4 weeks vacay), not the 80 hr/week. So is there a ton of time on vacation?
Companies that produce alt-right banners and other merch, being wielded as clan identifiers for hate orgs and ultimately insurrectionists...someone had to design them, right? Innocent cash grab, or complicity?
Dell (Austin) or JPM (NYC) ? Both strategy roles, both with alumni... Dell seems sweet but I wonder why “nobody” tries to go there
Where are all the in house jobs at??? I'm sick of hearing great job market when I literally see nothing except agency jobs.
Not sure if I’m being ridiculous but my employer offers free use of SMARTDOLLAR which need me connecting my personal bank, investment, debt accounts. When companies partner with external party like that, is it safe to use without the concern that external party will share my info with my employer?
