My office recently was acquired by a new owner. He's shown interest in me being his office manager. He's said after this transition period, that they want to give me the official title and pay yo compensate that. But it's been 4 months. The transition is over and I've been busting my butt. On all the documents I am the manager, yet I feel like they just gave me the title without the pay for it. Should I wait a bit longer and be patient, or should I speak up and ask for the raise?

Oct was my second month in notice period, still i recieved salary but policy says they will hold the salary.
Is there any change in policy?

First time ask here: I was interviewing for an Executive and Internal Comms Manager role and after three stages, I got word that the role has been paused but the executive I would be supporting if I had gotten the role now wants me to interview for Chief of staff. Is that a good move? I'll definitely still be writing for the executive but who knows if that transition makes sense?

Anyone have examples of creative KPIs/goals to measure the impact of PR that go beyond just coverage numbers? I have a client that is a little too black & white with our KPIs. While my team has met the coverage expectations, we want to show the bigger picture impact of the media rel. program - i.e. relationship-building, inbound media opps, organic coverage, inbound sales or web traffic (that one’s probably a stretch).

Due to inflation at its highest rate since 1982, I feel that I am not being paid enough. I can’t afford things on a day to day basis and I think I can make the same amount of money in gig jobs for cash downtown. During the Trump administration I was doing just fine financially - now it costs me so much just to get to work. Is it appropriate to have an inflation conversation with my bosses or should I just pick up shifts as a bartender at night - I need to make about 600 more a month to make it.
