What do I need to prepare for 1:1 training sessions? 3rd year (although not been busy since 2020 due to pandemic), no PSLs or knowledge/precedent base. Partner agreed to page turn principal agreements and discuss common negotiation points. I prepared questions on clauses etc but not many because honestly, I don't know much (hence the request for the sessions). Partner expects me to lead these sessions by asking questions. I was hosting a pretty high level (1 or 2 level below c suite) meeting with a European client and they asked me “oh isn’t today a bank holiday you guys are working today?”.

And, while very obviously working I replied “well we aren’t a bank”. My manager was shocked for like 5 seconds and repeated what I said. Am I in trouble?

I paid off my mortgage yesterday and we are totally debt free (after getting out from that, car debt, and student loans). But I feel like if I tell people they will judge me.
