Male in my 30s here. I’m overweight, and my doctor believes this contributes to my low T-count. I’m working on dieting, portion control, and exercise. My wife is (understandably) feeling sad. What is the likelihood that losing all my excess weight will make the difference? Has anyone done this before?

I got an offer from accenture 8lpa fixed 1.68 variable n the position is level 11.
Now i have better offers from pwc n kpmg
10lpa fixed.
Will accenture increase their offer. They wer not even ready to go till 8.5 last time. But now i have other offers in hand. Is it possible to go back and ask for improved offer n position even though i have accepted the old 8lpa offer from accenture 1 month back.

Has anyone had luck with increasing sperm count? My husband’s SA test results aren’t ideal (good morphology and motility but 10 million sperm count). He’s not overweight, not a smoker, drinks only occasionally (way less in quarantine, maybe once a month, and cut coffee down to two cups a day. He’s on proxeed now and vitamins recommended by our fertility doctor, but the doctor has been heavily recommending IUI or IVF and I’m not sure if we’re wasting our time trying to improve his count. I am so sad and will seek therapy. Have one son via ivf and was overly optimistic . My next ivf cycle was awful, despite good amh/fsh, with a huge drop off with day 5 embryos and abnormal results. I’m going to cycle again and possibly another time but I can’t stop feeling so pessimistic and I don’t know if I can deal with the waiting game again.

Any suggestions for pregnancy testing kit? Which one do you ladies use?

I'm 32 years old and have a AMH level of 1.2 which is very low for my age. Did a vaginal ultrasound and they only found one follicle on each ovary. I have started IVF but my chances are so slim this will work now. I find out in about 7 days if we go ahead and try and collect anything from me... who would of thought at age 32 this could be happening. I'll be starting menopause in the next year or two...

Is anyone else in the same situation as me? Any success stories of IVF working for you.

Second failed IUI, this one ending in a chemical pregnancy and I feel like I'm losing my mind. How many IUI's did you do before you moved on to the next option? Our next option is egg donation and I want it to be a success but a $50k price tag is a hard pill to swallow. There are cheaper options, but I was thinking the guaranteed or your money back option would give me some peace of mind. How did you decide which IVF option was best for you?

If you ovulate on your own, would you consider taking a trigger shot or do the at home testing with an OPK kit? Currently on Clomid for IUI and RE gave me options like I can either do the trigger or do at home testing. She wasn’t helpful with an answer to “If I should take a trigger & does it have any advantage over at home testing” as she believes I can pick one of my choice and should be ok. Personally, I don’t have a problem with testing on my own. Wanted to post it here to hear thoughts?

After taking Clomid, does anyone know what the minimum level your progesterone (ng/mL) should be at to indicate ovulation has occurred?

How is everyone staying motivated at work while going through fertility treatments? On days when I have appts or get my period, all I want to do is google and read forums about it. My utilization is tanking (not because I’m blowing off work, but because I need to find and take on new work) but can’t get the energy to). I’ve told my manager about what I’m going through and she is supportive, but feeling guilty when I hear about how busy everyone around me is and I just can’t find the motivation.

I had put off starting a family to grow my career. I was terminated and now unemployed. I’m pissed, I feel used I covered for everyone else in my department when they went on leave and as soon as everyone was back from leave my team suddenly had problems with me. Anyone here adopt a puppy during the infertility struggle? Husband and I considering it to have something positive throughout this situation and thinking the extra companionship would be helpful. I work from home. Husband has had many family dogs and lots of experience with it, I’ve had a family cat before. But not sure if it’s actually a good idea - wondering if it would truly help make us feel better and keep our minds off of the struggles or if it would just add extra stress. Thoughts?
