36 states have adopted medical marijuana programs, and its recreational use is legal in 18 states. If you use marijuana for medical purposes, do you find it helpful?

I use CBD gummies to help sleep and reduce stress. I believe that CBD gummies are much less harmful/toxic than using alcohol for dealing with current stressors of teaching right now. My husband also CBD cream for his back pain, and he swears by the results.

I use a cbd mint micro fused with a tiny amount of thc for anxiety. It’s been a game changer.

The edible gummies help me to sleep. Like another poster said, they also help with anxiety. One small edible, typically 2.5-5 mg make a positive difference in my mental state.

I’ve been a heavy recreational cannabis user for most of my adult life. I’ve tried THC and CBD for hip pain and found both to be useless. I’ve advocated for legalization my whole life, too, and I’ve heard many anecdotal stories of the benefits of cannabis, but I’ve never experienced any pain relief. However, I never get headaches, I sleep REALLY well, and I’m as calm as can be pretty much all the time. Other than some pain in my hip, I’m in fantastic shape. I feel very healthy for my age. (It might be worth noting that I abstain from alcohol altogether.)

I use it as a self-medicating for years to help with anxiety. It helps calm my brain to fall asleep and stay asleep without the fog of melatonin.

No, but I’ve been through chemo and if I ever have to do it again (knock on wood), I would use it in a minute for nausea. I’ve heard it works well for that.

Have used CBD/THC 5:1 for migraines and pain from car accident-- depending on need. I began trying it when it was legalized for rec use and could get easily without a card. I was using far too frequent ibprophen and most other migraine meds I'd become used to and they only worked very short term and brought side effects. It took awhile for me to find out about the 5:1 ratios and also about different products. Also, have used Mary's salve for back pain and that stuff works like nuts! I honestly now feel it should be illegal that they withhold medicine like this. My migraines have been altered with Dysport and CBD. My pain in my back was sometimes keeping me from walking or needing to sit. This stuff is gold in my mind.

It’s legal in Michigan. I think if you have a medical marijuana card there’s no taxes. Recreational is taxed.

like

I don’t have a medical card, but I believe that’s how it goes here in Arizona. Card holders also have additional product available to them than do recreational users. The rules and regulations are mind boggling.

My partner uses high quality CBD to treat his eosinophilia esophagitis.

I hope he finds the relief he deserves.

I too went through chemo bc of cancer. I agree. I would use it in a heartbeat if I had to go through it again (yes, knock on wood).

They are fully in the wrong, it's a disability related issue. My options are 1. Sign 2. Refuse to sign 3. Try to negotiate. 4. Sue them (contingent on attorney taking the case). I'd prefer to negotiate, but not sure that's realistic.

Recently 1 of my clients initiated open PTO policy. The transition from set leave balance to open was smooth process. However we are running into dilemma of how we standardize different types of leaves and whether there will be a limitation to how much open PTO is used at one time. For leisure, we just limit taking two weeks max at one time. However if we have volunteer policy or bereavement policy how should we standardize it? If EE is out for longterm sick, how do we standardize time paid?

(And the same genetic issue that took away her hearing and most of her sight also gave her those gorgeous eyes.)

Our CSM department is going through a major restructure right now. There has been a huge amount of turn over since the beginning of the year. Our managers have not given us any insight to what the new restructure will look like, they have also pushed out our annual raise conversations until the end of April. A lot of CSMs are leaving the company and it has me thinking maybe I should entertain other opportunities elsewhere as well. Has anyone else had an experience like this?

Around what year do people get the “time for you to look for other avenues” talk? Is this really a thing that frequently happens? I know a lot believe they will make partner or be kept on as counsel, but I know that’s not realistic so just wondering what year and any thoughts about it. I hear it’s a pretty casual/normal thing.
