Would it make a major difference to switch to T2 to MBB when applying to an MBA? Assuming everything else is the same.

With all the recent hiring spree at MBB, did they drop their recruiting standards to be able to hire these many folks?

MBB folks, I’m a Product Manager (non-tech company) and interested in working at MBB.

Which level/role does MBB can offer me ?

Outside of big 4, Accenture, for those who don’t have a shot at MBB , are on h1b, and want to stay in consulting, where else should we look?

Any partners transfer from Big4 or Accenture to MBB and live to tell the tale? Did you like the change? Did you fit with the culture?

Is strategy consulting (even MBB) losing it's charm nowadays with the world moving more towards implementation projects and better opportunities available outside which have good pay as well as better WLB?

Something like what happened with IB roles which were all the rage in B Schools few years back but now have tapered off a lot.

What are the daily hours like for larger transformation cases at MBB - are they less burn than traditional “strategy” cases and if so by how much?

Is it worth jumping to Deloitte (offer in hand currently) in order to position myself better for FAANG 3-5 years down the line? Other options include staying at BAH or trying to get into MBB.

I’m convinced that the reason some of these firms are so prestigious is because they have intentionally exclusionary recruitment practices. I used to believe that you had to already be rich to get hired at MBB. Now being on the other side of the recruitment process , I really do feel that it rings true. I hate the way we evaluate candidates and decide on who is “high priority” during coffee chats.

Where / what cases are the best to practice with for MBB? I know there are MBA case books but it seems like they are written by students and not the firms. Which ones helped you secure the offer?

I have been given a sick note by my doctor to get my hours altered and be on light duty because I’m having crazy pregnancy insomnia. Cognizant gave me offer letter based on my relevant experience of 41 months, however when I filled the BGV, the total experience came out to be 57 months. I wrote to HRs but no response from them.

R2 Sloan applicants - did you include quantitative areas that you covered in high school if it was just part of the math curriculum? Eg I never took stats or probability in college but definitely had a solid enough foundation from high school to not need a refresher for the GMAT...
