Average salary in MSCI for an Assoc role?
Has anyone received the bonus letters yet?
Hello- I’m currently at Deloitte Consulting US and in early stages of exploring a transfer with promotion to Deloitte UK. Glassdoor says a Senior Manager avg salary is ~£95k. Does this sound about right for Consulting? Glassdoor doesn’t differentiate between Consulting, Advisory, Risk, etc… Also what is the matching % on pension contributions? Deloitte

You can always boomerang back. Why are you hesitant?
Rhetorical question or humble brag?
Yah. You could have stopped at 40%.
I'm with EY1. Why on earth would you accept a position with a 40% raise where you can hire your own team and build something, while improving work/life balance? That's just crazy talk.
Confused by question. Why would u not?
^Put down the booz.
Yep
You can keep yourself amused. Tilt at windmills and try to get the org to move faster.
Of course you say no. What are you even thinking? You mad to take an opportunity that furthers you ahead and gives you a sense of satisfaction and fulfilment ?
The fact that you’re asking this tells me you’re an idiot...
This thread has more salt than lol...
Anyway, changes aren't easy, but this sounds like one you should definitely take! Starting your own team from scratch also means you will have a lot to think about even though the company moves slow
Ever managed people, how quickly can you get decisions implemented, is it a 12 week gig with lots of promises and no management comittment? Have you seen their financials? What is there culture are they ethical? Do you trust their management are they private or public company? Are they
If they want to give you the latitude, P&L budget, and hiring power then ask them to meet more people within the organization before you make a decision. When i was in industry and had an offer for job that seemed pretty amazing, i asked to meet more people on the senior leadership as well as other people on the ground (folks typically with less than 10 years experience). And im glad i did. Thats what smart people will do, and it'll be interpreted as such. I found out that the previous 3 people who held that role were not set up for success and were faced with pretty substantial roadblocks which led to team attrition, in fighting over budget distribution, and less than spectacular performance kpi's. I turned the job offer down and took another role at a global agency. Thats just my story, but i hope you do your due diligence. I also talked to my headhunter/recruiter friends for advice. Good luck.
Yes
Yea get used to be bored AF but you’ll have a life outside of work
Depends on other variables too like people, past performances and hurdles, leadership, etc.
Genuinely interested in advice. Mostly afraid of being bored. Client moves so slow
