Some one beat you if you scroll down. Good effort though!

Unfortunately ACN has chosen to keep our After Tax cap at 15k :(

I guess that’s fine though, since the megabackdoor closure was re-added to the bill. If closed, a brokerage is better than taxable gains.

At least you have after tax contributions. We never have, so you are still better than most at 15, if you want to be glass half full.

I am not following your comment about brokerage is better than taxable gains. Your gains in a brokerage are taxable on sale.

How do you record state minimum & tax and franchise tax during interim for a loss & full VA entity (US AETR = 0%)? I saw people prorate the state tax and record under discrete but it seems to be some inconsistency there- why would you prorate if it’s discrete? If not under discrete, how should I record it? Anyone hit me with a guideline reference would be highly appreciated

I'm coming to the end of a contract term and being converted to FTE.

The offer was presented to me by the hiring manager and not HR/Recruiter. To me it is a lower base salary offer than expected, so I asked for info on the total compensation package (base, benefits, bonus, stock/rsu, etc.), which I was told about when they took me on under the contract with the intention to convert.

Hiring manager sends me an email with only standard benefits, no bonus, etc. Are these red flags?

As many of us in benefits are aware, there has been an uptick in attention for family planning and emotional well-being benefits offered by 3rd party vendors. Curious if anyone has implemented these (aka stork club, carrot fertility, talkspace and big health, etc.) and what your experience has been like on the employer and user end. Would you recommend? Thanks in advance!

Got an offer at a non-profit. The salary is higher and the benefits are better (and I can already tell it will be satisfying work too). But I worry about future layoffs, not just because of the current climate but because I've never worked in a non-profit/known anyone who has and I would like to fully understand the risks (and maybe some real life stories/examples for why it's a good career switch?)
