At a strategy firm, 3 YOE since UG, I’m at 150k base. Others at my level are around 150-165 base.
I assume Deloitte’s analogous practice would pay similarly. So for 5 YOE, you should be at manager making a little more, no? Regardless, it’s pretty good relative to the average American salary of 60k!
Manager at D takes 6-8 years out of UG.

It’s one thing to be a genius rockstar consultant and achieve that in the amount of time you stated, but also another thing for a firm to provide the platform and opportunities to do so. Applaud MBB for providing this as well, I don’t think Big 4 can compete.

I would say that’s about average. People at EY with 5 years’ WE are typically managers and are at ~$140K base. Probably ~$150k with bonus.

5 years out, you’d probably be a consultant at MBB or other tier 2 strategy consulting firms such as S&, LEK, or even at Deloitte S&O = 210-240K all-in...

Unless you are in NYC or SF you are perfectly fine. You are making wayyy more than probably 95% of people you graduated with. Everyone posting here with these ridiculous numbers are either lying or just the very very small % at those levels.
I am just saying that people that stated the numbers aren’t lying.... understand the point about % in strategy vs. % in other types of consulting
