I have three years of experience in agency recruiting and HR. I’m currently making 47k as an HR Coordinator. I’m starting to feel bitter that I took a pay cut to transition to HR from agency recruiting so I put myself open to recruiters on LinkedIn and got a Sr Recruiter contract offer with a company that I’m familiar with for $38/hour. I don’t love the company’s culture so I’m going to keep looking but would it be worth leveraging the offer with my current org? I’ve only been there for 7 months

Went to the gym after over a year today. Have been procrastinating since the last time I went - had pulled a muscle and decided to take a break, and the break turned into a year-long hiatus. Turns out, I like the pain. Hoping to lose all my stubborn belly fat by the end of the year! One day at a time, as they say.

Hello Buddies,

After a long time yesterday did tricep workout and did 50 pushup in a strech. Today I can't lift my hands up even for eating. Anyone has any remedy for this.

I’ve been working on joining the 225 club for a little over a year. 50ish guy weighing 205 here. Got to 215 today doing 1rm, but my trainer didn’t want me to attempt it (215 was definitely a struggle). Will try again next month. Any tips on how to train for a bit of improvement?

Any workouts to strengthen my core, specifically back neck and shoulders? I’m in constant pain and I heard strengthening my core and making the muscles strong helps a lot but I don’t even know what to do or where to begin

I’ve been sick for two weeks and haven’t worked out and I feel shame. Normally I feel fine and have a positive attitude but I still have some lingering sickness making it hard to get the motivation to workout. How do you slowly get back into it? Also it’s cold Af outside still haha
