As long as you're not working for Jones Day or the Heritage Foundation it shouldn't be an issue.

DC is not a conservative city; it's very liberal. That said, the lawyers there do tend to skew more centrist than in NY or SF

Most law firms, particularly large law firms in DC are working hard to recruit diverse attorneys and have worked hard to create a culture of inclusivity. DC is pretty liberal and accepting. It’s about what you do not who you are.
