In a small general practice firm, sure (which doesn't necessarily mean unsophisticated work, just more local family owned operations than multinationals). Having been there I have to say I found the "I know a little bit about a lot of things" stressful and I prefer to specialize. I'm wary of attorneys crossing too many lanes.
Why would you want to do both? There’s some crossover if you do risk advisory from the lit perspective but I would never want to do both.
