6 months of FDD experience and 6 months of FP&A experience. Looking to go back to client servicing. Interviewing for A&M but I have to take a step back to associate title and a $20K in base cut. Is it worth it? How much is the bonus at associate level?

Senior auditor with 6 months Fdd? That’s right on spot as associate in AM. You base will be increased by AM ridiculous bonus

like

Senior associate: 130k base + 90k avg bonus.

Associate: 100k base + 50k bonus on avg or so I’ve been told.

like

I would temper expectations on bonus during your first year.

A lot of what you read is based on WIP + Collections. Depending when you join during you first year, you should really base it off of base + guaranteed bonus in your offer.

Comp potential will increase post year-one

like

Any guarantees depend on the candidate and his/her experience. But offers are very competitive from what I’ve heard.

When you leave, does it make a difference to companies if you made it through at least a busy season as a senior or just that you have the title? I did have some experience this year as an A2 where I split some of the senior responsibilities with the manager. However, I’m worried if I leave before busy season, companies will see that as really just being an associate.

I’ve brought this up a few times and was told HR would do research into salary equity, but the convo always fades. What are y’all’s thoughts/experiences with Fundrise? Don’t have much cash to buy real estate, but the returns they boast seem on par with less work. It’s not liquid so thinking abt 5 yrs for down pmt?

Considering buying a townhouse in an ideal location but just found out there is an on-going lawsuit with the builders by the HOA (HOA vs builder) for construction defects (cracks in ceilings have appeared in some homes). Is it worth the risk? I don't know how these things play out and even if the HOA wins, what the fix to it will be..any experiences/thoughts?

I could lowball and maybe get a better deal, but not sure if it's worth it.
