$60K as an incoming senior? Seems low to me. Is this really market value? I'm from a small town but have an EY office there. Thoughts?

@EY5 you are killing it. Dallas S1 70k, plus at PwC it takes 3 years instead of 2

Really depends on the local market. Even hcol areas like NYC and SF new seniors were at 64k at Deloitte in 2014

Mid Atlantic PwC seniors are between 60 and 65 at least in tax.

Dallas. A3. A little over 60k base. I'm also on the high end of associates because I negotiated my starting salary. Looks like you need to do some negotiation.

Just got promoted to Senior and went from $54K to $63K in a "small town". Also highly rated, which I know is what the $3K difference represents.

I would think I'm highly rated as well, got 4.5/5 on last evals. Partner basically told me that I should be manager in 2 years as well (not smoke up the arse if you know what I'm saying)

Point being, at most there's a $3K differential between what you received and what I received so I'd argue it's fairly close to market value all else equal.

Staff2 philly 60k, hope it helps

62k A3 Midwest (but Pwc years it is equal to a senior EY)

60k is about normal for incoming senior in Miami...mid market

Senior in central market between 55-65k
