75 years to get my green card on EB2. Yesss! So excited to get permanent residency in the afterlife

Just curious why do people choose to go through the difficult immigration process and try so hard to stay in the U.S. instead of relocating to Canada? Especially for Chinese and Indians, the long wait for green cards seem never ending, on top of the crazy H1B lottery system. It seems Canada has a relatively easier immigration system and more welcoming culture.

Question on sponsoring my sibling - If my Parents are US citizen and they sponsor for my sister who is married and age of 35. How long it can take for her to get green card?

My wife just asked me why don’t H1B folks protest the way DACA/BLM folks do. All I could say was we are afraid of repo cushions and will not have widespread support like the other movements, the odds that even Indian Americans will come out to support us very low

Manager on H1B. Green card wait is 150 year for EB2. What about moving to Canada for 1 year and join back in US. Will PwC consider to switch my green card from EB2 to EB1. Any thoughts?

How long does it take these days to get your green card and EAD after one is done with fingerprinting? Applied in EB1 category.

I didn't get my H1B lottery this year, and am trying for a transfer to the Canada office. I will likely get a job offer soon, but the it seems like we need a minimum of 1 year work experience for an intra-company transfer. Is this correct? Are there any other options for a transfer?

Although I’m neutral to American politics, It really annoys me when I see Indians who received their GC or Citizenship ( easily as they reached US in 2000ish) , show over enthusiasm and go super public in social media supporting Trump and MAGA slogans. Would they have done the same if they were in the queue to get H1B/GC/Citizenship.. 🧐

F1 expires July 2021, company starting green card process now, from a low demand country so no wait, if my f1 expires while it is processing ~ 18 months, will I have to leave ?

If I had 10 months remaining on my H1B and I left the firm and moved to another country with the same employer as Manager. Now after a year as Manager if I try to come back on L1A to go for Eb1C route, can I come back on previous H1 which had 10 months remaining and then do Change of Status while in US? Do you'll think 10 months is enough to file CoS and get a new L1A while in US? or its better to file a new Visa in my new country and avoid coming on H1?
