It seems to me that there is a big push to go Indy these days. What are the major benefits of going that route?
I’m an early promoter manager at a small boutique firm and love my bosses, the wlb, and the pay. However, I feel I have become complacent. Should I try to move firms during this hot market knowing short term pay, job title, and MBA admission chances next fall will probably take a hit? I want to keep learning and growing but feel it has stagnated, and long term compensation upside is higher at a larger firm
I have a question/topic that has been on my mind since this whole COVID thing started. With all the anti-Asian sentiment going on, companies (at least mine) are now all of a sudden reacting TBC..
I’m a first time mom with no mom friends and I was wondering what does your job/childcare situation look like? Do you work part time/fulltime? Do you always WFH and have help at home, or do you have access to family, daycare, etc. Trying to get some creative ideas before I head back into the office from mat leave. If we are working for a Big 4 as a Senior Consultant and expecting a promotion to Manager in the next 1.5 years and eventually want to exit into industry, then does it make sense to exit right now or take the promotion and exit?
Help! I’m going to a delayed-due-to-covid evening cocktail wedding reception In October in central Massachusetts. I have a closet full of dresses and a black pantsuit, all appropriate, but some are several years old or dont fit perfectly. Since y’all are far more fashionable than I am , what looks would you suggest? I’m 52.
I can’t decide between purchasing either an LV wallet or an LV pocket organizer. Anyone have a pocket organizer and can share feedback? I’m leaning for that but I’ve always been used to a traditional wallet that goes in my back pocket
