DJT's tax plan gives tax cuts for everybody. And increases jobs. And decreases the deficit. And increases benefits to legal citizens. And everybody gets a pony too!!

For sure
And a unicorn
No
Would be paying 33% starting at 113,000 as a single 😩 it's currently 28%.
Yeah I looked into this earlier...single filer making $112k-$191k will see rate increase from 28% to 33%. Personally that leads to a 41% increase in my income taxes (I'm somewhere in the middle of that salary range). This is before 5% cap gains tax increase. Oops.
And mule!
I don't understand it, what's the proposed bracket for single filers? Only lists married filing jointly and says half of that for single filers
Right, divide by 2 to get the single bracket
Divide only the salary amounts. So single filing 35-112 gets taxed 25%, today it's around 28%. But 112+ gets taxed 33%. Anyone wanna validate? Wish the percentage cuts in half too but online it says just half the amount of the bracket
With a 15k standard deduction and Max 100k itemized, but yea that's what it looks like
