When is it worth it to take a pay cut? Received an offer from a startup today, the salary they are offering me is 30% below my current salary - offered them my range during the interview but they stuck to their initial salary when they sent me the offer. No 401k, no WFH, but they have unlimited PTO. They are also offering me 10k shares of common stock (25% vested 1 year after the date vesting begins and the remaining on a monthly basis over the next 3 years). How does this translate to $ amount?

Do you ever find yourself as just a “meeting scheduler” to one senior leader and an account manager to another? It’s exhausting & my role isn’t defined anywhere so I sort of understand. How do I deal?

My main reason for doing this is because I don’t feel valued at my current firm and the pay at the competitor is substantially more. This obviously is not something I can say at my interview. Im 31, I work as a customer success manager in a Cybersecurity Saas company. I have no degree.
I never completed major in management due to having depression after losing a parent 6 years ago.
I'm better now and I'd like to go back to Uni but my former major, Civil engineering is something I'm not interested anymore.
Thinking of studying computer science or management. I enjoy scientific and technical subjects but If I had the chance I'd also like to study philosophy and politics.
