Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)
(sap domain)
How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

Newbie to investing and never invested in a company that went through a reverse stock split.
In theory, I understand the market value should increase but I’m not seeing this reflected in the price and naturally my book value/ share is very disappointing.
A) When should I anticipate the stock appreciation to occur?
B) What’s the next move for companies that do this? Issue more shares?
TIA!

^wouldn’t recommend posting any more in here, discuss with lawyer
If u are not guilty, don’t resign.
Ended up alright, thanks for the tips guys
You’re saying all her accusations are true and that you did all of those things. On the other hand you also go and complain to your manager about her? Lol
I’m sorry this happened to you, especially considering your side of the story makes it sound like potential payback. I hope you get a fair process. However, in the age of #MeToo, I’m shocked you didn’t think about the potential consequences of unprofessional talk / behavior (seems like you admit to crude language and sexual innuendo above) in the office... all fish out there, please use good judgement — even if you are “only talking to your friends”, please keep in mind how poorly this can come across

Keep in mind that firms’ HR are rarely if ever care about a fair process. They are there to protect the firm from a major liability — which is the girl suing the firm. I would contact any mentors or partners you are close with to have outside conversations to gain insight into what the decision is. Usually, the decision is made fairly quickly regardless of the legitimacy of the allegations.
Idk how many females are in your firm, but if there aren’t many then i can see how your comments might’ve created an uncomfortable/hostile environment for her, even if they weren’t directed at her. But like assoc1 said they should be hearing your side first and then decide what to do. Safe thing to do next time is to just keep it PG
Consult outside legal counsel immediately and provide her/him with full details on situation, make sure they understand your license status, then make the preemptive resignation call (note that your coworkers and especially internal resources in legal/HR may be great but have first and foremost responsibility to protect the firm, not to be fair or to protect you).
They need to interview u and hear your side of the story before they make any decisions no?
Unfortunately there’s no due process in these situations. You aren’t worth the lawsuit in a company’s eyes, so they will always side with the accuser. Gotta be careful and ALWAYS keep it 100% professional at the office. Shit ain’t no joke
A4 - there's no need to bring up M2, this is all very obvious. I'm sure he gets it now, and it's not the time to berate him for the obvious when he's already in such a precarious state. And I can imagine that everyone reading this took away that point before yours, so you're not adding anything. No need to kick someone when they're down and asking for help to get up; you're stating the obvious and it's not necessary nor helpful.

Can you talk to a lawyer too? And if you can, get the emails you sent to her and evidence to back up your story
How’d it go op?
Hope things turned out OK.
Any update?
Don't share details. Nothing to gain and who knows who's on here. Say nothing without lawyer
Glad to hear. Have a lawyer handy in the future. Moment leave office call lawyer. Now you gotta have everything ready for next 2 bonus years since they can still come after you later.
At a hedge fund that just hired three kids out of school. One is a girl. She’s terrible at her job and is extremely combative (I.e., when I give her feedback on how to improve she argues and ignores me). Think she saw me complaining to my manager about it and she then told a partner I was sexually harassing her
She said I made this a hostile workplace with my crude language, sexual innuendos, etc. I’ve never said anything like that to her. I was joking around with the other two kids and they told that to the partner as well
She’s doing this as a way to protect herself from being fired but the firm takes allegations very seriously and I was asked to take the rest of the day off so that’s why I think I’m about to be fired
