Looking for hope & exceptions with this situation my inlaw (German citizen) is in. They came over on Fulbright and now is on O1 but in exile back in Germany. I was promoted to marketing director in April but didn’t get a raise. This is when the CMO left and my workload has since doubled and I have four people reporting to me. I was hired at $105k so I’m making decent money but I’ve asked several times about bringing it to a director-level salary at $120k. They said it’ll happen but they’re not sure when because sales are down. Thoughts on how long to ride it out? I like my job and don’t want to quit but it bothers me regularly.

What does it mean to be a STEM school?

My school has not so subtly hinted that they would love for me to teach 6th grade next year if I comfortable with it. I usually teach 4th/5th. 6th grade teachers what’s 6th like compared to upper elementary! TIA!
