I am moving to a new state tomorrow for my new job and to be honest, I’m struggling and could use some encouragement. I’ve moved every 2-4 years of my life and every move is harder than the last. I can’t even sleep knowing I’m leaving friends behind even though I know this new job is amazing and will bring new and better opportunities for me. How do you guys schedule your hours?
Say I need to hit 200 hours per month. Currently I take the amount of working days in a month (M-F) and divide it by 200 to get how many hours I need to bill per day. For example, May has 20 working days, so I need to bill 10hrs./day M-F.

I’ve done exactly that thus far and have been able to stick to a pretty consistent schedule. But I know a lot work on weekends. For instance, if I worked Saturdays too there are 25 billable days which means 8hrs/day.

At what point do you ask your recommenders for their address to send them a thank you gift? I’m targeting R2 deadlines and was planning on asking once I submitted my apps but just got a notification that one of my recommenders already submitted their letters lol
