As realtors, our worst and best friend are the contractors, being friends with the contractor that remodelled a home you are going to sell is a plus because you can know for sure what kind of improvements were made to the house and why; and what kind of things are pending to be improved, that way you can provide real information to the client. Collecting data on a potential entrepreneurship idea for a marketing CRM of sorts. What I have found is that most ppl in marketing do not have a specific tool that they use in order to coordinate and connect with marketing agencies. For ex. I was working on a webinar and needed to work with a few diff agencies to draft up creative and copy assets. Everything was done via email/docs. Would have been nice to have a CRM to organize and bring transparency to coordinate the project. How about you?

My remit quadrupled+ in a recent re-org with no increase in pay/promotion, my new director is new to the company and was zero help, and I was passed over for recent promotion during the comp cycle. How do you handle micro managers? I’m a second year transactional associate and for the most part the partners and senior associates I work for trust me to get the work done. But this one guy is constantly checking up on me, asking for status of deliverables long before the deadlines he gave me, and just generally pestering me on everything I do.
