A co-worker told me their salary and its 50% higher than mine. She has the same title, same experience and a worse degree. If I try and negotiate my salary and bring up the difference in pay, how would it impact my co-worker?

Has anyone successfully negotiated paid family leave eligibility as part of their offer? Wife is due at the end of the year and I’m in a very toxic work environment looking to get out. I’m a first year and fucked up big time. The client doesn’t know about this but a senior associate was furious. I know it’s 100% my fault but no one above me actually reviewed my work bc everyone was so busy. But then I found out the senior gave a rant about how I fucked up to another colleague. When I apologized to him, he was really salty. Since then, my heart drops every time I see his email bc I’m too scared. I’ve been on the same dose of Vyvanse since fall 2019. It still works. I notice a difference when I don’t take it. But I think I miss the rush I used to get when I would feel my meds kick in — like I could handle anything and I knew my meds were working. That plus the hyper focus that was still within my control (not the time blindness hyper focus where you fixate). Does anyone still get that? Is it worth trying to change my meds? Or is this just what it feels like to be “normal” now?

Hello everyone, I had an interview yesterday and they asked me what’s my salary range I said 85K and they didn’t bat an eye said that’s reasonable. I was wondering if I can ask for 90K when I’m offered the role? I figured an additional 5K wouldn’t be an issue, this is for an entry level project manager role. The range I looked up on Glassdoor says 98K, and average for the area 89K. Do you think I should go for the 90? Or just stay with the 85K?
