A company gave me a range of 90-100k in recruiter screen. I got the offer which says 90k. If I want to be at 100k, should i be genuine and ask for 100k? Or do i have to ask for something higher like 110k to get the 100k?

As I'm moving to a new role in a small company, I have a doubt about my salary structure like the Basic salary part is only 20,000 while my take home is 62k after all deductions.

I'm concerned because the leave encashment & other things totally depends on the basic salary.

Are there not any rules for the Basic salary to be at a certain % of CTC or it depends totally on the company?

Also PF deductions they are offering only 1800 p.m but considering 20000 basic it should be 12% of 20000 right?

TC comparison: currently $220k annual cash + estimated $400k-$800k in equity upon sale vs $300k annual cash + $30k-$50k annual equity. Future WLB predicted to be more intense. Curious your thoughts.

My resume has been getting pickup by recruiters because of my Accenture brand and the ironical phone screening usually is along the lines of “perfect, I’m going to send this to our hiring manager.
