I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

At this point she’s what? SHE’S WHAT!?
I’m guessing you’re gonna say being annoying? You could either ignore her, have an adult conversation with her, or make a few cutting, sarcastic remarks to emotionally devastate her to the level of a high school sophomore.
Up to you
Who is “we” and how many of you are there. What’s “we’s” experience vs her. Her reaching out could be valid and you just aren’t accepting her as a new leader.
Also what if she is wanting to get insight into what is happening with people at the org to improve things? I say this because I do this. For example, I’m a leader in the org working also to help with I&D. I reach out to females for 1x1’s to enable them to be comfortable with being forthcoming in a safe place to discuss challenges they see or deal with. I then take that information and action on it as best I can as well as share it (anonymized obviously) with other leaders in the org. Anecdotes help along with data to improve the way things are done.
More hands on than any of our career counselors. It's a little distracting when someone wants to play at being a manager and posturing as your lead. We are the same title. Can I just ignore this person?
D1 yeah I was going to ignore or just send an email "update" on how I'm doing
AC1 "we" is 2-3 other consultants and an analyst. This person is a consultant. They told me about it before I got any of it and now I'm getting it too 😂 What information would signal that she's the new leader? Like, a promotion? That hasn't happened so she's not a new anything
She asked someone else what they wanted to do with their career, then shot them down and asked "are you sure you even want to do that?"
Her delivery sounds like it needs work, as well as her motives for connecting with people. Sounds like her people skills need some attention.
What kind of advice has she given?
