Deloitte I have been on my current project since September 2020, and am feeling some burn out. My current contract ends at the end of this month. I am considering sitting on the bench for some weeks, maybe a month to rest. Is that pushing it? How long is too long? My utilization rate is currently in the 90ish range.

Just tell them thanks and you really appreciate the help.
I don't think you need to give them a gift or anything, but a thank you note would be appreciated. And, then continue to knock things out of the park - show them they made a good choice investing their time in you. And consider volunteering for an initiative that they're leading. I once had a mentor who was a really active volunteer for a nonprofit organization. It was personal to her because of her family situation so when I found out she was leading a big fundraising event for the organization, I volunteered to help. It further strengthened our relationship and I got to learn more about a cool nonprofit.
