A family friend owns a condo. HOA pipe burst and caused property damage to their unit. First property management offered $13K and then a new management took over. The second property management is refusing to offer anything at all. The homeowners are interested in settling/accepting the first offer. They hired an expert who estimated damages to be over $20K. Can anyone recommend an attorney in the Los Angeles area to help?

Have the homeowners contacted their insurer?

like

Sorry this is unfortunate. But what do you need the attorney for?

To try to get compensation for the damages. I’m not familiar with this area of the law. Any suggestions?

Homeowners insurance should also be contacted.

This. Homeowners' insurance will pursue this. They don't need to hire their own atty.

They claim they know Angular/React/Spring without knowing basic Javascript/Java. 😒
