McKinsey & Company Has Mckinsey met BA headcount quota for the year/did they freeze hiring? I interviewed and got to last round last year, and applied again with a referral two months ago but haven’t heard anything from recruiting. Last year I heard back within 1 month of referral drop. I would’ve thought with my 1 more year of experience I should be able to get an interview easily.🥲 McKinsey & Company

Yes. Walked through it and I suggest you do too. Just cause you go doesn’t mean that you have to partake in the offerings.
You’ll end up waking through it anyways while exploring the city and it’s canals
It's surreal and really sad. A great deal of the women there have been trafficked and are in horrendous situations
Why even give token support by observing their suffering like they are a caged animals in a zoo

I got a handy there when I was 21. Felt like the patriotic thing to do.

Go just to say you went, it’s not a big to-do but tourists love to make it a big thing 😂

Just get really high at the coffee shops and ride bikes thru the red light district
Omg! This is my plan. Minus the biking.

If you are in Amsterdam, then I think you'll find yourself walking through the red light district at some stage. I found it interesting and sad at the same time - but found it a bit too much that all the tourists are basically gawping at scantily clad women in the windows trying to earn a living. But as others have said, there's much more interesting sights to see in Amsterdam - hope you enjoy your trip!

Yes, it’s fine and mostly safe there. Just be wary of your surroundings

amsterdam is great but the red light district is so boring and touristy. it’s like if there was a sex workers ride at epcot.
Go check it off the list, you don’t have to get a tuggy if you don’t want to.
Long weekend there with client for his bachelors party (just 3 guys). Walked through red light district, a depressing freak show. Best part of Amsterdam is architecture, restaurants, shopping and museums.

You can see it sure. Nothing exciting. There's literally so much more to do in Amsterdam. It's a beautiful city with an amazing culture.

A buddy of mine had me worried with how much intimate knowledge he had about the red light district in Amsterdam specifically.

It's just a regular tourist spot and sex work is legalized/protected. Go with a group though if you are female cause the bouncers/other tourists may be disgusting
Yes. My friend and I went many years back and had fun. I will say it was an overall amusing experience rather than sexy. We saw a live sex show which was one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen (it was like a choreographed dance, and way too energetic).
Also, when we were walking back to the hostel, some random guy slapped my ass on the street. I was drunk enough to find this funny and we just ran home.
In hindsight it was probably not the safest place for two intoxicated 19yr old women to be wandering...oh college.

Is the sex any good?
Had a friend who did it and said the whole thing was incredibly clinical, like they put down paper sheets and clean you with baby wipes before hand
Do it. But do not take any pictures. They will literally come outside and there will be an altercation. Bonus points if you see a sex show ;-).
