I’ve produced an idea from laid off creatives that ended up winning a Lion. Their contribution was a single page in a deck. Nothing really fleshed out.
But they deserve to be credited than most of the names on the Lion credit who never touched the work at all.
Put it in your book.
You’re a good one

Yes 100%. You should honestly reach out to the producer and ask for the hi-res files as well

Yes, definitely. And congrats on getting it produced.
Heck yes. If this wasn’t acceptable then freelancers would have no CV material

Absolutely! People have put things in their books where the only involvement they had was being CC on the email chains. Moldy Whopper anyone?
100%.. I accidentally walked into a room that I thought I booked but it was actually booked by talented creatives. They ended up winning an award and I put it in my resume. If I didn’t bless them with my accidental presence, who knows what would have happened
Was it RPA lol

Is the scenario the same only? Did they change the dialogue, interactions, characters, etc? I say yes, esp if you KNOW they started with your script. but I suggest you credit the team got it produced just as you’d wish they had credited you.
Yes. I write on my site what my role was so it’s clear. You could say My role: concept and script
How good is it? Award winning good?
Or do you just wanna claim ownership over it?
For sure. And reach out to a friendly face at the old place and get the file(s).
What if the director takes your idea and uses it for a different client? Can you put in your book?
