A friend has been interviewing at a company for 4 months. They keep adding in more interviews, saying they have found great opportunities for him, and only occasionally responding to emails. At this point I’m assuming they like him but don’t know where to place him. Is it normal to get this type of run around ?

I started Zoloft almost 2 months ago. It’s helped with my anxiety and depression but I’m worried I’m feeling the emotional numbing/blunting. I say this because 1) my car died and I did not care to call AAA until my bf insisted and 2) I have an interview for a job in 2 hrs I really want yet I cannot care to interview prep. I just feel so blasé about everything. I took off work thinking I’d interview prep but so far have just lounged around watching TV. Any advice? I need to get my head straight.

Do you always clean shave for an interview? Have one with EY later today for SC2 and I think the stubble (clean neck) helps me hide my baby face a bit so I’m leaning towards not clean shaving.

I want to exit into the crypto/web3 space more than anything. My biggest passion area and I would love to leverage my 3 YOE in cyber consulting to do it. I’m not necessarily super technical. Had my first interview for an exchange and got turned down sadly. Idk if it was my interview skills or my lack of technical cyber knowledge. I understand the big picture for IT Programs (prioritizing risk, federal guidance, compliance) and have a similar understanding of the web3 industry. Thoughts?

How common is it to not hear back at all after you interview? At the very least I usually expect a “it’s not a fit” email if they’re turning you down? Maybe my expectations are too high…

I'm putting myself back in the job market, and I'm seeing new titles pop up at other consulting firms / accounting firms. Does anyone know what the equivalent title is of Senior Director at Eisneramper, compared to PWC or EY or Accenture? Is a Senior Director the same as a partner, Managing Director, Senior Manager? The job descriptions of similar titles don't indicate if its a client facing position or internal.
