A friend who was on H1B did a CoS to B2 to deal with her divorce and health. She’s done and ready to get back to work. If she gets a company willing to transfer her H1B, will she need to leave the country to get the H1B stamp? If the stamp isn’t possible with the latest EO, will she be able to work with just the transferred H1B? Anyone with experience with CoS from B2 to H1B?

My mom’s sister died due to Covid and my mom has been depressed since then. She started to see a grief counselor but now the counselor also has Covid. The doctors she had been seeing have Covid too. My mom had to get tested and it was negative but she is so depressed that she has given up on life. It’s scary to receive a call when my dad says she has fainted and is talking like she is on her death bed. I believe people should get vaccinated when they can and if they are able to. I also think it’s wrong for governments to mandate vaccination. Doing so severely infringes on individual freedom and sets a bad precedent for the future.

Not to start a political debate… I am not anti vaccine but have not wanted to get the COVID vaccine. I think I will be getting the vaccine tomorrow. Anyone else feel conflicted who originally really did not want to get it, but was kind of feeling forced to get it?

Wedding of 100-150 people, mostly indoors with guests asked to wear masks when not eating/drinking. I’m leaning toward no for obvious COVID concerns (No known health issues, early 20s male) but these are childhood friends. Mental health matters but if your team lead peaced out on you in the middle of a deadline, new business pitch, campaign launch, etc. you’d be singing a different tune. If Brady peaced out in the Super Bowl, would we sympathize? If Bron peaced out during the NBA finals, would we sympathize? The answer is likely no.
