Deal or ops? How big is the fund?

like

Your chances of even getting the interview are minimal so don't go dreaming of salaries just yet. That being said, ~200K all in.

A1, not dreaming of salaries yet but I want to have a general idea before starting a dialogue

like

150m fund? That's peanuts

like

B1, she wants to discuss two roles, one in ops and one in commercial strat. $150M

like

Expect like a 15-20% bump on base and 75-100% bonus. Ops probably less

like

That fund isn't even really at critical mass yet. Expect low base and "opportunity for growth with the firm"

My b, $150M is for one of the companies in their portfolio that they want to directly hire for. I honestly can't find the size of the fund itself. But thanks for the info!

What's PE and this relative associate position?

If they are hiring direct into one of their companies, it's like any other job offer. Expect 15-20% bump on base and a performance bonus. Offers are not that rich, PE far richer

Recruiting pitch! Recently left EY (I was so unhappy) for a smaller firm that really emphasizes WLB. Salary is decent, benefits are great, hours are reasonable, and the people are awesome (most are ex big 4 but with none of the attitude). We also get overtime pay if you happen to work more than 40 hours (!!) We have a ton of needs (seniors and up) right now so pls DM me if you enjoy the work you do but hate the hours/stress/lack of balance/independence requirements 🤗

Anyone have experience working for Elixirr? Small company, so might not have much luck here, but thought I’d test the waters. Have only heard either extremely positive reviews or extremely negative reviews. The stock compensation is intriguing - not a lot of opportunity for that in consulting.

Currently work as a VP of Sales with 15 YOE. Im managing a large team and revenue target for a growing business. The money is good but I can’t help this nagging feeling of doing something else. What options are there to move into consulting but not the typical post-MBA consulting role? For example I know McKinsey has their implementation business where they’ll hire experienced sales and marketing execs. What other opportunities are out there? Is the pay good? What’s the WLB like?

Struggling to evaluate an offer and would like some help. currently make ~150/8/10ish base/bonus/RSU, ~170ish all in excluding benefits. I would be transferring to a startup with a base of 180k with equity. The benefits at my current job amount to maybe a few k more than at the startup. So, overall my cash compensation amounts to roughly the same or a slight increase. The potential upside is the equity. Is that small comp increase enough to warrant leaving a big company, even with equity?

Friday was complicated. So, I am going to break it down. Nasdaq 100 Futures (NQ) traded to the 9837 level, 32.75 points short of it's 50% HWB short. It then proceeded to sell off like nobody's business to 9846.50, 31.5 points higher than the projected objective for the HWB short. So, if you followed me on the channel, we were positioned for a nice rally at the end of the day. Markets have no memory on Friday afternoon. So, I think we are going up eventually and rally hard.
