Even if the bench isnt big...are you learning the skills that you will need in the future.
I spent some time at pwc and realized that pwcs advisory practice doesnt really teach problem solving skills. They teach you how to follow an audit checklist and present it in an incredibly polished way.
With all the talk layoffs over the last 24 months at pwc...i wold look for a firm that does a better job of giving their consultants marketable skills.

All while they brag that we are the people who carry the oscars ballet. That's great. Why don't they focus on running business better.
My understanding was that 3s was bottom 15-20%. To me, the mentality stands that if you're good and utilized, you've got nothing to worry about. Now if you're a new hire who hasn't been staffed, you may have something to worry about (fair or not)...
P14, S& is so profitable because they keep trimming very often. I was told that they don't have a tolerance for the bench.
